The Story Behind the Name
K&A Wooden Creations was born out of a desire for something better.
We started our journey in 2019 while finishing our own builder-grade home. We felt that the mass-produced options lacked a certain something—we craved unique, high-quality pieces with real personality. When we couldn't find them, our founder, Paula, decided to create them herself.
What began as a DIY project quickly turned into a passion. After crafting stunning built-ins for our own space, complete with custom shelving and a mantel, the flood of compliments was undeniable. Inspired by the response and guided by a love for woodworking, Paula took a leap of faith to build this business.
Today, K&A continues to thrive, creating custom wooden pieces that bring warmth and character to homes across Canada. Our name is a tribute to our two biggest inspirations: our children, Kaelyn and Asher.
